Graduate Record Examinations
GRE stands for Graduate Record Examinations. It’s a standardised test for prospective graduates.
The examination tests students verbal and quantitative reasoning as well as their writing and analytic skills.
GRE consists of three main sections which must be attempted within 3 hours 45 minutes: quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning and analytical writings.
Quantitative reasoning section measures your ability to grasp, analyse, and interpret pieces of information that are presented quantitatively.
Verbal reasoning measures your ability to examine a given communication and come to a conclusion. This section tests your ability to synthesise meaning.
