The Smartest Choice I Ever Made

My dream had always been to study abroad (US to be precise): high standard of learning, exposure to different cultures of the world, and relative abundance of job opportunities being some of the perks. But there was a major roadblock: my parents could not afford it. What else could I have done?

I had heard stories of friends studying abroad without a scholarship: how they had to settle for less by considering low budget colleges/universities; how they had their parents pay a high-cost tuition due to foreign exchange in dollars (some even going as far as selling properties at a very cheap rate so as to cough out the fee). I didn’t want such to befall her parents. Getting a full scholarship was the only path left. I knew it would require me to study real hard. To get a full scholarship (which was what I needed), I would have to ace the SAT with at least a score of 1300. Moreover, I didn’t know the ropes of best preparation strategies and the know-how of scholarship application.
An older friend who was on a full scholarship in Alcorn State University was pleased to tip me on just how. She had got hers by taking advantage of the “PAY NOW, SAVE LATER” preparation and scholarship-acquisition package offered by Light Heights. I was so happy; I roped my parents into enrolling her on this program. They, however, decided to visit this firm to clear their doubts. They had heard of similar mouthwatering offers before, most of which turned out to be marketing tricks used by most companies to lure parents to patronise them. At Light heights, however, they could attest that services is purely result-driven, especially as the strength of referral came from successful students already studying in US, CANADA, and UK for Bachelors, Masters and PhD programs and from their sponsors’ or parents’ recommendations to family and friends. I thought they had seen just what she needed.
By starting early, I quickly learned the ropes: extensive and intensive personalised preparation by experienced instructors and a diligent personal study routine was what I needed to ace the SAT in flying colours. I went on to score an excellent 1400 in the SAT with a high percentile of 91%. My dream had finally come to fruition: I got a full ride scholarship covering tuition fee and living expenses in one of the Universities in the US—amounting to a total of over twenty million naira (N20,000,000)! My parents were as happy as I was, if not more, for what they now consider a confident application of a pound-wise financial intelligence.

By investing in my preparation (at a very competitive price) they had been able to save over twenty times more of what would have been a throttling bill: one that they may not be able to afford, or one they would have had to pay by the skin of their teeth, selling properties and other assets like some imprudent parents did to pay their children’s high tuition fee.
I cannot quantify how happy I am for listening to my friend’s million dollars-saving advice to apply for training at Light Heights. This is one program I’ll recommend for any parent thinking of getting the best education for their children in foreign universities in the US. Thank you Light Heights for helping me achieve my dreams!
